Underwater Net Cleaner:

KRAKEN

Our KRAKEN net cleaner utilizes three propeller-driven scrubbing brushes instead of the industry-standard high-pressure water to clean netting. This process provides a highly efficient and significantly improved cleaning action that can clean all types of fouling.
The unique design of the scrubbing brushes ensures nets are protected and combined with the controlling thrusters the cleaning head can move over all types of nets easily and unincumbered.
The cleaning head is powered hydraulically by a power unit located on the vessel and is remotely operated from the comfort of a wheelhouse.
The movement of the cleaning head is monitored by cameras strategically positioned and the cleaning head. The feed from these cameras is displayed on monitors on the service craft, ensuring ease of use.
The KRAKEN net cleaning system will be available in early 2025 once prototype testing is complete.
